20th Annual Call to the Wild Gala and Auction
We are excited to celebrate with you, our 20th Annual Call to the Wild Gala and Auction. West Sound Wildlife Shelter has been providing injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife a second chance at life for over thirty years! Help us to continue the caring by joining us for our largest fundraiser of the year!
Join us for what is sure to be an evening of fun with the most generous and engaged wildlife supporters in the PNW. The evening will include champagne, dinner, and endless entertainment with auctioneer Colin McArthur leading the charge — along with some amazing auction items!

EVENING SCHEDULE
- 4:15pm: VIP Table & Single Purchase Early Entry
- 5:00pm: Reception, Hosted Bar, Photo Booth, Passed Hors d’oeuvres, and silent auctions open
- 6:15pm: Silent Auction 1 closes
- 6:30pm: Silent Auction 2 closes
- 6:45pm: Silent Auction 3 closes
- 7:00pm: Attendees take their seats, Welcome remarks
- 7:15pm: Dinner begins
- 7:30pm: Live Auction begins featuring Colin McArthur
- 7:45pm: Live auction, golden ticket, dessert dash, and heads or tails
- 8:45pm: Live auction ends, pick-up of items
- 9:00pm: Good night and drive safely!
Gala Games to Join In
- Golden Ticket: Golden Tickets is your chance to win one of our live items. Each golden ticket purchased for $100, the holders name will be placed into a hat the night of the event before our Live Auction gets underway, allowing the golden ticket winner to choose one of the Live Auction items for themselves! You must be present the night of the event to win.
- Heads or Tails: Join us for the auction version of heads or tails. Everyone who makes a $50 donation at the time of the game, will stand and either put hands on your head or hands on "your tail". The auctioneer with flip a coin. If he calls "heads", everyone with their hands on their head remains standing, those with hands on "your tail" will sit down. And so it goes until we have a winner.
