Everything you wanted to know about owls and more. This exciting experience includes a 60-minute program with the Shelter's ambassador owls and Scott Peck, our resident owl expert and educational handler. You and 3 friends (children are very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult) will meet the Shelters' resident owls Echo (Western Screech Owl), Oakley (Barred Owl), and Tuklus (Great Horned Owl). Being able to see these three vastly different species together is incredible. You will learn about how they interpret the world and the differences and similarities between the three species. This will be a mesmerizing experience for people of all ages.

In addition to the experience, this package includes: A handmade Screech owl box, a signed copy of What An Owl Knows, a size M "Irritable Owl Syndrome" t-shirt, a pair of owl socks, and a framed metal picture of Echo, our Western screech owl.

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the hospital door after you’ve dropped off an injured or orphaned wildlife? This is your opportunity to come and experience a rare peak behind the scenes at West Sound Wildlife Shelter.

Each year, West Sound Wildlife Shelter treats over 1700 wildlife patients, and there’s nothing like the hustle and bustle of when the babies begin to arrive in the spring. No two days are alike as we never know what patient will arrive at our door in need.

During your visit you may see a baby owl as it is examined by our staff or watch as a tiny chipmunk eats hungrily from a syringe or even an eagle as it learns to fly again in our flight cage. It is a season full of new beginnings and learning experiences.

You and three guests will join veteran Executive Director, Lisa Horn and the shelter’s Veterinarian, Dr. Alicia Bye for a private tour of the campus. You will also meet the shelter’s education ambassadors and their handlers as well as visit the hospital and learn about the inner workings of our busy wildlife rehabilitation hospital. Your time will also include lunch with our staff and volunteers, giving you the opportunity to ask questions of the team who provide the expert medical care to the wildlife patients every day.
